Dr. Georgianna Laws is an online higher-education leadership practitioner and educator, as well as an award-winning speaker and scholar. As a United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) board of directors member, Dr. Laws chairs the annual National Distance Learning Week conference. Her national research focuses on the legitimate power chief online education officers (COEOs) hold over online-program quality assurance in higher-education institutions in the United States.
